We're looking for a visionary Design Lead to spearhead our design team and set the standard for excellence in healthcare technology design. This role is at the heart of our mission, blending art and science to create intuitive, impactful products that improve lives. As a Design Lead, you will guide our design philosophy, strategy, and execution, inspiring your team to push the boundaries of what's possible.

Key Duties:

The Associate Design Manager assists in managing a design team in creating quality creative content on a daily basis. A very good communicator who can present ideas clearly and concisely; can negotiate with clients and internal accounts teams. An expert understanding of typography, layout, animation and art direction will be needed to help the team produce the best work possible. A strong foundation in team + time management. The Associate Design Manager is a strong communicator, who can work with other team members to better understand what is needed but can also explain the designer’s creations and the rationale behind them. Up to date with current design trends in and around the social media space. As this is a managerial title, a minimum of 6 years in the industry is a requirement.

 

Expected Outcomes

First 90 Days

	<li>Focus on learning important internal processes, tools and workflows and look for opportunities to experience them directly by helping people out with projects.</li>
	<li>Define a structured set of goals with Creative Director to both pass your 3 months probation, make the best use of your time and skillset, and contribute to the business goals</li>
	<li>Get to know the team, their personalities, strengths and weaknesses and then use this new information to define gaps to take the team to the next level; as well as identifying team goals. </li>

The Art Director (AD) is primarily responsible for being the creative head of individual web design projects and is the client’s primary point of contact for design related matters.

He or she is tasked out with conceptualizing individual designs that are visually appealing and technically sound, all while designing with the client’s concerns in mind.

Additionally, the AD will work with a team of designers and developers for each project – the designers to illustrate and build the mock ups for the sites, and the developers to make the functional version of the custom sites.

Art Directors report to the Managing Art Director in the Manila office.

 

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Effectively communicate and articulate with clients their design concerns and solutions</li>
	<li>Keep in touch with clients on a regular basis for updates</li>
	<li>Be able to build rapport with all sorts of clients with differing personalities</li>
	<li>Be able to handle escalated and unhappy clients</li>
	<li>Come up with not just aesthetically pleasing designs, but also designs that are functional and user friendly</li>
	<li>Keep up to date with current design trends – primarily in web design, but also in other fields as well</li>
	<li>Learn basic literacy in the commonly used design programs</li>
	<li>Learn basic literacy in Wordpress</li>
	<li>Effectively work with and communicate with designers and developers</li>
	<li>Needs to have a minimum of 5 standard design completions or 20% of current project capacity per month, consecutive for 4 months.</li>
	<li>Should Maintain at least 70% project capacity for 1 trimester.</li>
	<li>Non-contacts are to be zeroed out every end of week.</li>
	<li>Should pass the AD Exam (Basic).</li>
	<li>Should pass PM Training (Basic).</li>
	<li>Should pass Advanced IDX training.</li>
	<li>Should pass Advanced SEO training.</li>
</ul>
