<ul>
	<li>Sort, deliver and pick up shipments for a specific courier route, in the most efficient and cost-productive manner, whilst providing a professional inter-face and image to customers and the public</li>
	<li>Shipment Delivery is to meet RDD and PU are uplifted as per RFU and no miss PU.</li>
	<li>Always attend to customer need in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.</li>
	<li>Electronically Record via a scanner (or manually if required) all shipment process activities</li>
	<li>Ensure safe handling, security, and integrity of all shipments while in transit</li>
	<li>To be able to communicate with Dispatch / CS when customer needs changes and uses initiative to meet customer need</li>
	<li>Ensure all cash transactions resulting from the delivery or collection of shipments</li>
	<li>Reconcile all non-delivered shipments and ensure priority is given to these for the next delivery cycle</li>
	<li>Ensure the maintenance of allocated vehicle</li>

Courier

<ul>
	<li>Carry out any administrative task that is required for the Service Centre</li>
	<li>Assist in ensuring operational practices and procedures are carried out effectively</li>
	<li>Process inbound material upon arrival and make sure material is available to the couriers and that material not going out for delivery is secured according to the Security policy and procedures</li>
	<li>Process outbound material according to the latest processes and procedures</li>
	<li>Capture information - and make available to the Network - information required for a shipment, piece or handling unit at the service centre according to the standard procedures</li>
	<li>Ensure that all relevant equipment is operating and take corrective actions where equipment failure and to be proactive through acting where equipment is falling below operating standards</li>
	<li>Keep the process area clean and tidy and make sure it is ready for the next process cycle</li>
	<li>Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization’s business processes</li>
