About the Client

Our client is a US-based logistics provider recognized for delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-focused supply chain solutions. With years of experience in domestic and international freight, they support shippers through smart processes, responsive communication, and modern operational tools. Their services cover a wide range of logistics needs, ensuring that every shipment is handled with accuracy, transparency, and care.

Location: Fully Remote (WFH)

 

The Mission: 
To ensure every air import shipment reaches its destination efficiently and compliantly—by proactively identifying risks, resolving exceptions, and taking full ownership from arrival to delivery.

What You'll Do:

<ul>
	<li>Own end-to-end air import shipments, from pre-alert to final delivery and billing closure</li>
	<li>Proactively identify and resolve shipment exceptions, including:</li>
	<li>Flight delays, rollovers, or offloads</li>
	<li>Missing or incorrect documentation</li>
	<li>Customs clearance issues or holds</li>
	<li>Cargo availability and handling delays</li>
	<li>Take decisive action to recover shipments at risk, coordinating with airlines, agents, brokers, and trucking providers</li>
	<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. import requirements, including coordination of AMS (Air AMS / ACAS) filings</li>
	<li>Validate shipment documents (MAWB/HAWB, invoice, packing list) and correct discrepancies before they impact clearance or delivery</li>
	<li>Monitor cargo arrival, free time, and warehouse status to prevent storage charges—act before issues escalate</li>
	<li>Communicate clearly with clients, not just updates but solutions and next steps when issues arise</li>
	<li>Escalate when needed—but only after exploring and driving possible resolutions</li>
	<li>Validate costs, flag discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely billing</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate shipment records and milestone updates in TMS</li>
