Kubernetes Devops Engineer  

We are looking for a highly proficient Kubernetes & DevOps Support Engineer to manage and optimize our containerized infrastructure. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability of our CI/CD pipelines and the health of our production clusters, providing high-level technical expertise to maintain seamless operations.

Core Responsibilities

Cluster Management: Oversee the deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.

DevOps Support: Provide technical support for end-to-end CI/CD workflows, ensuring stable integration and delivery processes.

Infrastructure Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure proactive issue resolution.

Linux Systems Administration: Maintain the underlying Linux environment, focusing on security hardening, performance tuning, and kernel optimization.

Security & Compliance: Ensure clusters meet security standards by implementing RBAC, network policies, and regular vulnerability scanning.

Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for complex container orchestration issues, networking bottlenecks, and deployment failures.

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration and DevOps support roles.

Kubernetes Certifications: Must hold at least one of the following:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration

Linux Certification: Must hold a professional certification in Linux Administration (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS) or possess equivalent documented technical expertise.

Technical Skills

Container Orchestration: Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift architecture.

CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Helm for automated provisioning.

Networking & Security: Solid understanding of Service Mesh (Istio), CNI plugins, and cloud-native security best practices.

Cloud Environments: Familiarity with managing Kubernetes on major cloud providers (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE) or on-premise solutions.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Kubernetes/ Devops support
