Job Description
The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with preparation and submission of financial statements including tax payables, commission, brokers and related reports.
- Checks, monitors and control accounts payable (Claims, Commissions, Operational expenses)
- Review and ensure compliance with regulatory reports (BIR payments, IC reportorial requirements)
- Preparation of reports and subsidiary schedule & reconciliation with recon items booked the following month
- Handles other tasks such as financial reporting, approval and decision making in the absence of the Chief Finance Officer
- Respond to queries and resolve issues/concerns relating to Financial Accounting
- Approves , verifies, and handles cancellation of payment voucher in the absence of AVP
- Maintain accurate records and handles other administrative tasks
- Involved in FPG Budget planning, reporting based on the submitted reports of Marketing Department
- Monitoring of financial analysts' tasks
- Manage relationships/agreements with customers, internal and external
- Respond to escalated queries/concerns from customers, internal and external
- Communicate with customers, other parties on sensitive matters in a timely and effective manner
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder. Preferably graduate of BS Accountancy.
- Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- With 2-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting
- With 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position
- Preferably with experience in Banking and/or Insurance Industries.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
- Self-motivated with willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
- Possess dynamic personality and able to deal with all levels in the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and has sense of urgency
