Facilities Engineer  

Key Responsibilities
 Maintenance & Operations: Developing and implementing preventative maintenance
schedules for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
 Safety & Compliance: Ensuring facilities comply with local and national government
health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
 Project Management: Overseeing facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction
projects, including reading/creating blueprints.
 Budgeting & Cost Control: Managing maintenance budgets and evaluating the cost-
effectiveness of new equipment or repairs.

Facility Engineer Job Description:
A Facility Engineer ensures the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of building
infrastructure (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Civil works). They plan renovations, manage
budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key duties include preventative maintenance
scheduling, supervising repairs, optimizing energy efficiency, and coordinating with contractors.
Educational Attainment:
 A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
 Safety Officer 2 certified
Job Requirement and qualifications:
 Have basic knowledge in other field of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical and
Plumbing)
 Must have at least 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance
 Must have knowledge on Generators, Elevator, Pumps, Motors and Airconditioning
System operations and maintenance
 Knowledge on permits and other Building Official requirements
 Knowledge on safety at work and other safety compliance
 Supervising contractors, technicians, and service providers
 Analyzing and improving facility performance for energy efficiency.
 Required Skills and Qualifications
 Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills to supervise
technicians.
 Knowledge on Autocad operation
 Can handle multiple establishments
 Willing to work overtime
 Can Handle multiple projects
