Credit Evaluator Senior Associate  

Main Responsibilities:

Make certain that all responsibilities given to the Credit Investigator are consistent with approved policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures adherence to TAT.
• Review the credit profile and related information of the borrowers, and check the authenticity of the submitted documents.
• Conducts telephone verification on borrowers' Trade reference, Bank references and Credit Reference
• Conducts an interview with the applicant to determine the risk profile, and if deemed necessary, may do an ocular inspection of the residence/ business location.
• Ensure that all regulatory requirements, credit policies and controls are in place in delivering credit functions.
• Perform a thorough assessment and prepare the necessary Credit Evaluation report for recommendations.
• Conducts property appraisal, asset checking and performs annotation/encumbrances.
• Coordinate with Third Party Service Providers for field verification requests, and ensure that requests are delivered immediately.
• Input/update data and information requirements in ZOHO and other company systems that require information coming from the Credit Evaluator.
• Maintain the correctness of the credit scorecard
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics;
• 1–5+ years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or financial analysis. Key qualifications include proficiency in financial statement analysis (5Cs of Credit),
• Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills to determine borrower creditworthiness.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to meet strict deadlines

While not always mandatory, specialized certifications can improve career prospects:

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Certified Credit Professional (CCP)
• Credit Business Associate (CBA)
• Certified Risk Professional (CRP)
