Job Description

M2.0 Communications is seeking a visionary Video Lead to lead our video production team in creating impactful and innovative video content. This role will oversee the creative process from concept to delivery, ensuring all projects align with brand guidelines, engage audiences, and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership:

  • Develop and execute creative strategies for video projects in line with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, inspiring teams with innovative concepts.
  • Create storyboards, mood boards, and creative briefs to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to incorporate cutting-edge ideas into campaigns.

Production Oversight

  • Oversee all phases of video production, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and other professionals to bring concepts to life.
  • Provide on-set direction to ensure visuals, audio, and performance meet project standards.

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align creative strategies with business objectives.
  • Use data-driven insights to enhance creative approaches and improve future campaigns.
  • Optimize video content for various platforms, including social media, streaming, and advertising channels.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to refine concepts and improve execution.
  • Build a culture of excellence, creativity, and teamwork.

Client and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders on creative matters.
  • Present ideas and campaigns, incorporating feedback as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional creative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years as a Creative Director or similar role in video production or filmmaking.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven portfolio showcasing successful video campaigns and storytelling.
  • Expertise in cinematography, editing, motion graphics, and design principles.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of visual language and audience engagement.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital and traditional video formats and platform-specific requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills to leverage data insights for informed creative decisions.
